Driffield & District Business Club We go further, together
The Driffield & District Business Club was set up in 2008 to support and promote local businesses in Driffield, East Yorkshire.
Our main aim is to work together and help each other to achieve business growth. We provide a voice for local business people in the Driffield area, as well as a networking and referrals club providing a valuable source of work for members. We firmly believe that together we are stronger and can achieve more.
The Club meets at Driffield Golf Club for breakfast meetings at 7:30am on alternate Fridays (see our full meetings calendar here). Our breakfast meetings provide us with a fantastic opportunity for informal networking, discussions and presentations by both regular members and guest speakers.
New members are always welcome! However, if you would like to see what is on offer – and how Driffield & District Business Club can help you grow your business – you are welcome to come along to any one of our meetings as a visitor.
Driffield is Open for Business October 2018
For the first time, Driffield is participating in this exciting event to encourage people to shop in this amazing market town by showcasing locally owned small businesses.
The event will be part of North Yorkshire & East Riding Business Open Day 2018 and promote Driffield to a wider audience.
The expo planned for Thursday 11th October will provide an opportunity for local businesses and organisations to promote their products and services to the local community as well as make connections with other local businesses. The venue is yet to be confirmed.
Janet Whipps, chair of Driffield Partnership said: “small businesses play a vital role and contribute immensely to the economic vibrancy and distinctiveness of our local community and this is a great way of celebrating their contribution”. She went on to say: “They provide local employment, stability, sustainability and of course community spirit. This will be a great opportunity to show how unique Driffield is with its particular mix of independent local businesses”.
Businesses will be able to book a space to showcase their business or organisation.
Jim Ezard of the Driffield & District Business Club said: “This is an opportunity to show that Driffield is “open for business” and to highlight, both to each other’s business and the consumer, what is available on their own doorstep. As part of the inaugural North Yorkshire and East Riding Business Open Day, it is also an opportunity to promote Driffield business to a wider audience
